My name is Tom and I'm from South Alabama, USA, near the Gulf of Mexico.

I have been a motorcycle guy all my life, mostly off road, MX, Enduro, Trials.....but in 2006 I bought my first Harley, an 883R and built this roadster:



It was fun but too slow....so, as soon as they were available in the US, I bought this:



I like my XR very much. I have other motorcycles.... 2006 DL1000, 1989 Honda 650 Dominator ...but the XR is my best girl smile

How did you find our forum?

I started a website, www.xr1200ownersgroup.com , in January of '09. It has a lot of Euro-Members smile, including several German guys.....I was seeing some very cool XR1200's from Germany, so I started searching around and found y'all Freude

I was planning a NRHS 1250 kit in my 883R but then they announced the XR1200 and I was hooked.
